Set Up Global Options for Sage 50

Global options set defaults that are in effect for all Sage 50 companies that your computer accesses. Global options allow each user to specify how Sage 50 opens companies and displays data.

  1. From the Options menu, select Global. Sage 50 displays the Maintain Global Options window.
  2. Select your preference options. The following are global options you can set up.
  3. Select a secondary sort for sorting transactions

  4. When finished, click OK to save your default settings and close the window. To discard your changes, click Cancel.

    Each Sage 50 company that you open using this computer will have the same global options set up.
