Add a Credit Card Signature Form to a Receipt with Paya

To add a credit card signature form to a receipt, you can use the form designer window.

  1. Select Forms from the Reports & Forms menu. Then select Receipts and Deposits.
  2. In the Select a Report or Form window, select the Multi Purpose 2Stub Receipt form from the Forms list.
  3. Click Customize located below the sample image to display the window where you can design forms.
  4. The Design window appears with the receipt form displayed.

  5. The face of the receipt (which occurs at the middle of the form between the two stubs) contains non-detail information such as subtotal, sales tax, and grand total. You may want to rearrange or delete some of this information to make space for the new signature form.
    • To move information, with the Selection tool click the object or objects that represent the information, and reposition as desired.
    • To delete information, with the Selection tool click the object or objects that represent the information, and then right click. From the right-click menu, select Delete to remove the object or objects.
  6. On the left of the Design window, select the Add button and then select Text. Don't worry about the exact size and position of the object; you can move and resize it later.
  7. Note: If you do not see an Add button on the left side of the Design window, select the Options menu and then select Object toolbar.

  8. In the Text field, type whatever text you want for the signature form ("Sign Here" for example).
  9. If needed, reposition the text object with the Selection tool.
  10. If you want to add objects such as a credit card logos or graphics representing boxes that can be checked to indicate the chosen card, select the Add button and then select Logo or image.
  11. When you are finished redesigning the receipt, select Save, and then Close to exit the window.
  12. You will probably want to print a sample receipt to see how everything lines up. To do so, select the receipt, and click Customize. On the Design window, click the Print button and then select Print to print a sample.
