About Paya
In Sage 50, you can choose to use Paya to accept customer credit and ACH payments for goods and services that your business sells. Once you sign up for a Paya merchant account, you will enter and process transactions through Sage 50 using Sage Exchange, a PCI DSS compliant online application that Paya uses to handle credit card information and allow the processing of credit card transactions.
The Paya page helps you set up and link your Paya merchant account.
There are two types of accounts you can set up:
- A processing account that allows you to store credit card and ACH information in Sage Exchange and process credit card transactions through Sage 50 using Sage Exchange.
- A storage-only account that allows you to store bank account and credit card information in Sage Exchange, but not process payments through Sage 50.
To open the Paya page, select Credit Card Processing from the Services menu.
