Save Customized Reports or Financial Statements

After customizing a report (or financial statement), you may want to save the report for future use. You can customize a report in two ways:

To save a report

  1. Click Save at the top of the Report window after displaying or designing the report or financial statement on the screen. Sage 50 displays the Save As window.
  2. Enter or select a name for the report, form or financial statement. Then, enter a brief description.

    Note: Sage 50 will not let you overwrite pre-defined reports (those that came with the software). If you customized one of these, you must select an alternate name.

  3. When you have entered the name and description you want to use, click OK.
  4. Select Close to return to the Select a Report or Form window.

The new report or financial statement appears in the report list.
