Use this window to delete an existing sales tax or sales tax agency. Simply highlight the sales tax or agency that you want to delete, and then click the Delete button. When you are done, click the Finish button.
Note: Generally, you will not want to delete a sales tax until all transactions that used that sales tax have been purged from the system.
Warning! Limitations on deleting sales taxes or agencies:
- You will not be able to delete a sales tax that is associated with existing transactions in the system.
- You will not be able to delete a sales tax that is used in a customer record.
- You will not be able to delete a sales tax agency that is used on a sales tax.
