Copy a Sales Order

Sage 50 allows you to create a new sales order by copying an existing one.

To copy a sales order from the Sales Orders screen:

1. Go to Tasks>Quotes/Sales Orders/Proposals>Sales Orders.
2. Click the List button.
3. Open the sales order you want to copy.
4. Click the Copy button.
5. The new sales order appears on the screen.
6. Add or edit the information on the sales order as necessary.
7. Click Save.

You can also copy a Sales Order from the Sales Order List. How?

1. Go to Lists>Customers & Sales>Sales Orders.
2. Select the sales order you want to copy.
3. Click the Copy button.
4. The new sales order opens on the Sales Orders screen.
5. Add or edit the information on the sales order as necessary.
6. Click Save.

You can also right-click on a sales order in the list to choose to copy it.

What information gets copied?

Only the following information from the original sales order will be copied to the new sales order:

• Customer
• Bill to information
• Ship to information
• Drop ship designation
• Ship via information
• Terms
• Sales Rep
• A/R Account
• Line items
• Freight
• Notes

Note: Information on the Track It panel is not copied.
