Financial Statement Wizard - Date Range and Account Masking

This window lets you choose the range of dates you want your new financial statement to cover. You can also choose an account mask, if your general ledger accounts are set up to support masks.

If you have created account segments (Sage 50 Premium Accounting and higher), you can limit the information that appears on your financial statement based on particular segments of your account ID. Each segment of your account ID will be listed and you can select the appropriate segment information from the drop-down lists. If you do not want to limit the information, leave the selections set to All.

Tip: Get basic information about setting up department masks

Dates

In the Time Frame field, use the drop-down list to select one of the following:

current period
current three periods
a range of dates

If you choose Range, in the From and To fields, use the drop-down lists to enter the starting and ending dates of the range.

General Ledger Account Masking

If your company is set up for account masking and you want to use it to limit the information that appears on your financial statement, enter the desired mask in the Account Mask field.
When finished, click Next to continue designing the statement.

Sage 50 displays the Financial Statement Wizard - Column Properties window.
