Sage 50 Web Transaction Center
The Sage 50 Web Transaction Center gives you the ability to review new Web transactions the WebSync wizard encountered during its synchronization process with various Sage 50 Web services (such as Sage 50 Direct Deposit or Sage 50 Managed Payroll).
Before you can process Web transactions, however, you must first synchronize your Sage 50 company data.
If you have not already done so, use the WebSync wizard to synchronize various Sage 50 Web resource data (compatible Sage 50 data entered on the Internet) with Sage 50 company data on your computer (at your business).
- To open the WebSync wizard and synchronize your data, click the Services > WebSync Wizard. Tell me more about this.
In this area, you can manage new Web transactions the WebSync wizard encountered during a synchronization process. Actions for each transaction include: Process, Remove from List, Move to Processed.
Synchronized Web transactions are listed on the Exceptions and Processed tabs.
Exceptions: Lists all Web transactions that could not be processed (added) to your Sage 50 company data. When a transaction is selected in this list, the reason for the import error appears in the Transaction Information box. To add an exception transaction to your Sage 50 company data, you must manually enter the transaction information in Sage 50 task windows. You can preview or print the exception transaction detail to assist you with entering it.
Processed: Lists all Web transactions that have been successfully processed (added) to your Sage 50 company data (or moved to the processed list manually).
- To display a processed Web transaction , select the transaction from the Processed list, and click the View transaction detail link. Sage 50 will open the respective task window and display the transaction selected.
- To print detail about any Web transaction listed, select the transaction from any list and click the Print selected transaction link. The Web transaction will print as it appears in the Sage 50 Web Transaction Preview window; it will not print in the traditional form format.
- To manually add unprocessed Web transactions to the Processed list, select the check box next to one or more transactions in the Inbox list or Exceptions list, and click the Move to Processed icon. This should only be done if you manually entered a Web transaction in Sage 50 or a duplicate transaction already exists in your company data. Moving Web transactions to the Processed list using this method does not process (add) the transaction to Sage 50. It simply reorganizes your Web transaction lists.
Note: Web transactions manually moved to the Processed list (see below) cannot display Sage 50 transaction detail.
- To remove Web transactions from any list, select the check box next to one or more transactions and click the Remove from List icon. After a Web transaction is processed or an exception transaction is manually entered in Sage 50, it is recommended that you delete old synchronized Web transactions from the Sage 50 Web Transaction Center lists.
Tip: Remove processed transactions from the list at the end of each accounting period or possibly every quarter.
