Move Columns (Financial Statement Design)
In the Column Description window, you can define up to 30 data columns that will appear on the financial statement you are designing. You can easily change the order of any of these columns.
-
Select a column whose order of appearance in the statement you want to change.
Note: When selecting a column to move, be careful not to click in the Print check box when you select the column; otherwise, the Print status of that column will change also.
- Do one of the following:
- To move the column up one position in the list of columns, select the Move Up button.
- To move the column down one position in the list, select the Move Down button.
The column moves to the position you selected, and the displaced column and all those below it move down in the list. You can move as many columns as you like; however, make sure your statement will still make sense with the new column order you’re creating.
