Ledgers (Report)
Customer Ledgers lists customers with detail transaction information as well as outstanding balances per customer. The bottom of the report provides debit, credit, and balance totals.
Note: You can access a specially filtered version of the Customer Ledgers report from the following sources:
The Maintain Customers/Prospects window. When you select an existing customer in the window and then click the Current Balance arrow button, the Customer Ledgers report appears for this customer filtered to reflect outstanding balances as of the current (system) date.
Accounts Receivable task windows. The following windows feature a Customer Balance arrow button: Quotes, Sales Orders, Sales/Invoicing, and Credit Memos. When you click the button, the Customer Ledgers report appears for the displayed customer filtered to reflect outstanding balances as of the current (system) date.
Options
Select the Options button to determine the data criteria for the reports you want to see or print. For this report Sage 50 displays the following filter options:
- Date: You have the choice of All, Range, Today, This Period, This Quarter, This Year, and the week, month, period, quarter, and year to date. If you select range, you can enter from and to dates.
- Sort by: You can sort by customer ID or name.
- Select a filter: First, select a filter on the left. Then, define the options for that filter on the right. The options differ based on the filter selected. Tell me more about the types of filter options.
- Include Customers with no activity and a zero balance: Select this check box if you want to include customers with no activity and a zero balance for the selected date range. Clear this check box if you do not want to include these customers on the report.
Columns
Select the Columns link to choose which data fields to include and where the columns break on your report. Tell me more about choosing report fields.
Fonts
Select the Fonts link to set the font styles for the heading and body of the report. You can also have the titles of the report show special codes, such as the current period, today's date, an as-of date, and the company name. Tell me more about formatting reports.
