Vendor Ledgers (Report)

How do I

Vendor Ledgers lists vendors with detail transaction information as well as outstanding balances per vendor. The bottom of the report provides debit, credit, and balance totals.

Note: You can access a specially filtered version of the Vendor Ledgers report from two different sources:

The Maintain Vendors window. When you select an existing vendor in the window and then click the Current Balance arrow button, the Vendor Ledgers report appears for this vendor filtered to reflect outstanding balances as of the current (system) date.

Accounts Payable task windows. The following windows feature a Vendor Balance arrow button: Purchase Orders, Purchases, and Vendor Credit Memos. When you click the button, the Vendor Ledgers report appears for the displayed vendor filtered to reflect outstanding balances as of the current (system) date.

  • Sort by: Sort by vendor ID or name.
  • Select a filter: First, select a filter on the left. Then, define the options for that filter on the right. The options differ based on the filter selected. Tell me more about the types of filter options.
  • Include Vendors with no activity and a zero balance: Select this check box if you want to include vendors with no activity and a zero balance for the selected date range. Clear this check box if you do not want to include these vendors on the report.
