You can convert sales quotes and orders into invoices and delivery orders1. You can also convert sales quotes into sales orders.

  1. Create a new sales order.
    1. In the Home window, click Customers & Sales on the navigation pane.
    2. In the Tasks pane, right-click the Sales Order icon and select Create Order from the menu.
  2. In the Order/Quote Number box, click the finder Finder icon.
  3. (Optional) In the Show section, select Orders and Quotes to display all available transactions.
  4. (Optional) If there are a lot of current transactions in the list, select a sort order in the View orders or quotes by list.
  5. Select the transaction you want to convert and click Select.
  6. Click the Convert button and select Convert Sales Order to Sales Invoice.
  7. Enter the number of items you are selling in the Quantity column. To fill all of the items on the order, click Fill backordered quantitities Fill backordered quantitities icon in the toolbar.

    8. Note: If you are partially filling the order and want to cancel the back order for any remaining items, click Cancel backordered quantitities Cancel backordered quantitities icon in the toolbar.

  8. (Optional) If the customer is paying the sales invoice by credit card and you have set up a merchant account, click the Process Credit Card button to get authorization for the payment.

    9. Note: If the sales invoice has already been prepaid in full with a credit card, change the Payment Method box to a non-credit card payment method.

  9. Click either Process or Print & Process.

    1. In the Home window, click Customers & Sales on the navigation pane.
    2. In the Tasks pane, right-click the Sales Order icon and select Create Order from the menu.
  2. In the Order/Quote Number box, click the finder Finder icon.
  3. (Optional) In the Show section, select Orders and Quotes to display all available transactions.
  4. (Optional) If there are a lot of current transactions in the list, select a sort order in the View orders or quotes by list.
  5. Select the transaction you want to convert and click Select.
  6. Click the Convert button and select Convert Sales Order to Delivery Order.
  7. Enter the number of items you are selling in the Quantity column. To fill all of the items on the order, clickFill backordered quantitities Fill backordered quantitities icon in the toolbar.

    8. Note: If you are partially filling the order and want to cancel the back order for any remaining items, click Cancel backordered quantitities Cancel backordered quantitities icon in the toolbar.

  8. (Optional) If the customer is paying the sales invoice by credit card and you have set up a merchant account, click the Process Credit Card button to get authorization for the payment.

  6. Click the Convert button and select Convert Sales Quote to Sales Invoice.

  5. Make any required changes to the order.
  6. (Optional) If the customer is paying the sales order by credit card and you have set up a merchant account, click the Process Credit Card button to get authorization for the payment.
  7. Click Process or Print & Process.
