Set Up a Vendor

Use this procedure to set up a new vendor record.

  1. Click the Vendors navigation aid on the Vendors & Purchases Navigation Center and select New Vendor.

    Tip: From any vendor-related task (transaction) window, you can type + or double-click inside the Vendor ID field to set up a new vendor.

  2. On the Maintain Vendors screen, enter a new vendor ID, and complete the necessary information. You can use the field help located on the right-hand side of the screen as a guide. Tell me more about this window and its fields.
  3. When you're finished filling in the information, click Save.
