Data Access/Crystal Reports
Use this tab to set up access to your company data from Crystal Reports, OLEDB, and ODBC. What are OLEDB and ODBC?
How do I get to this tab?
Go to Maintain>Users>Set Up Security. Then select the Data Access/Crystal Reports tab.
Access From Outside Sage 50: This ID and password will be needed for any third-party programs to access Sage 50 data. This includes Crystal Reports run from outside Sage 50.
- None: This is the default selection. We recommend you use this setting unless you are using a third-party program that needs to access your Sage 50 company data.

With the following login information: The ID will always be Peachtree. Click Change to enter or update the password. This password is limited to 8 characters and cannot be blank.
This ID and password will be needed when a third-party program accesses your company data from outside Sage 50. This includes Crystal Reports that are run from outside Sage 50.
