Transactions by Tracking Status Dashboard Section
This is a section which can be added to My Dashboard. Use this section to see how many transactions are currently at a certain status and how much money is tied up in these transactions. This is extremely useful for determining where you need to concentrate effort in your business.
Tip: Individual users can display the My Inbox section to see a list of all transactions assigned to them.
- On the main Sage 50 window, select My Dashboard from the navigation aids on the left.
- If you have multiple tabs in My Dashboard, select the tab you want this section to appear on. If you want this section to be on a new tab, click Add new tab and go to step 4.
- Select Customize this page.
- In the Available Sections list, find Transactions by Tracking Status.
- Highlight it and select Add.
- Click OK..
-
You can specify the type of transaction you want information about and the Date Range for this information.
You'll see a list of all statuses for that type of transaction, how many transactions have each status, the total dollar amount of transactions with each status, and the percent of transactions that have each status. This information is based on the Date Range selected. You'll also see a graph of the information.
Note: You must have at least View Only access to a particular transaction type to see information about that transaction type on this section.
- You can view the Transaction Detail by Status report by clicking the View Transaction Detail by Status report link which will open the report with it filtered by the transaction type selected in the section. You can also open the report by double-clicking on a status in the pie chart or the Status Name column. When you open the report this way, it will be filtered by the transaction type selected in the section and by the status you double-clicked. This report shows you transaction details including status and assigned to information.
Note: Payments and Write Checks will both appear on this report if you open it by clicking on a status of <None> for either Payments or Write Checks transactions. This is because Write Checks are a form of Payment and Sage 50 is unable to differentiate between the two when they do not have tracking statuses assigned to them.
- You can add or edit a Tracking Status. Selecting the Add or edit Tracking Status link will open the Tracking Status Settings window.
