Payroll Fields for W-2s
Use this window to assign payroll fields to corresponding boxes on the W-2 form. This information is also used for corresponding amounts on other forms, such as the Federal Form 941, so fill it out even if you do not plan on printing W-2s.
Each line in the dialog box is identified by its box number on the W-2 form and the label of the box as it is printed on the W-2 form.
To enter information, select the drop-down button to the right of each entry box. This provides a list of the payroll fields that are currently set up.
