Opening Reports in Microsoft® Excel

You can open any of the reports in the Report Centre as Microsoft Excel files. Nearly all of the reports available in Sage 50 Accounting retain their formatting (including font styles) and formulas when they are opened in Excel.

You might want to open a report in Excel in order to change the amount of detail it contains, to share it with someone else, or incorporate it into a document.

Note: Reports that do not retain all of their properties when they are opened in Excel are the same reports that do not have all of the customization options in the report viewer .

To open a report in Excel, click Open in Excel in the report viewer.
