Pausing, restarting, or stopping sharing company data
- You must have Sage 50 installed and have an active subscription that includes Remote Data Access.
If you have shared a company, at some point, you may want to temporarily pause sharing, to restart paused sharing, or to stop sharing indefinitely.
If you choose to pause sharing, other users with access rights to the company will not be able to download the company file. You can continue working with the file as if it was not a shared file. However, you must choose to resume sharing after you complete your work so the changes are uploaded.
If you have paused the sharing of a company, when you choose to resume sharing, you will have to let all your changes be uploaded. Once sharing has resumed, other Sage 50 users with access to the company will be able to download the updated company file.
