Time Slips Timer
If you enter time into the Time Slip window, you may want to use the Time Slips timer to simplify the process. You can use the time slips timer in several ways:
- You can use the timer to add time to several items on a single slip rather than entering the time manually for each item.
- You can have the time slip open on the computer when a job is started, and then click the Start button. Sage 50 Accounting starts a timer, which you can stop with the Stop button. Then, you can add that time to one or more items on the time slip.
Tip: When you type a one or two digit number in the Time box, Sage 50 Accounting assumes you are entering hours. If you type a three or four digit number, Sage 50 Accounting assumes you are entering hours and minutes. Using this method can save you from typing the colon to separate hours and minutes.
1 = 1 hour (1:00:00)
130 = 1 hour and 30 minutes (1:30:00)
030 = 30 minutes (0:30:00)
010 = 10 minutes (0:10:00)
