Set Up an Inventory Location
To add or modify an inventory location:
- In the Home window on the Setup menu, choose Settings.
- On the left side of the window, click Inventory & Services and then Locations.
- Provide or modify any or all of these details.
- Click OK.
In this column | Enter or select the following information: |

Location Code | Type the location code that appears in location lists |
Description | Type a description of the location |
Status | Click to change the location status to Active or Inactive. Note: You cannot change the primary location's status to Inactive |
