Check the Integrity of Your Company's Data

To check the integrity of your company's data:

  1. In the Home window, on the Maintenance menu, choose Check Data Integrity.
  2. Check the results for any account balances marked with an asterisk (indicates accounts are out of balance).
  3. Click OK.
  4. If there are any balance or corruption issues with your data:
  5. Restore your company to the most recent backup.
  6. Check the integrity of the backup's data. If there are still issues with balance or corrupted data, continue restoring the next most-recent backup until there are no issues with integrity of your company's data.
  7. Re-enter all of the transactions since the date of the error-free backup.
