Time and Billing — Billing Reports

The Time and Billing report lists the time spent on activities, amounts related to employee time slips, and activities performed, sorted by customer, employee or activity. The information is accumulated from Time Slip (and Invoice) entries.

You can also create similar reports based on contractor time spent on activities, amounts related to contractor time slips, and type of activities performed. (Sage 50 Quantum Accounting)

All reports include:

  • Information from Time Slips. Actual time; time that is billable, non billable, non chargeable, or in progress; billable amount.
  • Written Up/Down Information. The billable amount that you either increased or decreased on the invoice. For example, if you recorded billable time in the time slip as $200, but charged only $150 on the invoice, the Written/Up Down Amount box would display negative $50.
  • Invoiced Amount. The amount entered on the invoice [ Billable Amount + Written Up or Down Amount ].
  • Effective Billable %. The ratio of the Invoiced Amount to the amount that would have been invoiced if actual time was billed.
