Modify the Gross Margin Income Statement

Select the Gross Margin Income Statement report you want to modify:

Gross Margin Income Statement

1. In the Home window, open the Report Centre, select Financials, Income Statement, and then Gross Margin - Standard. Click Modify this report.
2. (Optional) Select the Template you want to use for the report.
3. Select the Fiscal year.
4. Enter Start and Finish dates.
5. (Optional) If you have turned on departments, select Show Departments and click Select Departments. (Sage 50 Premium Accounting)
6. (Optional) Select Hide Accounts With Zero Balance to exclude an account with zero balance from appearing in the report.
7.  (Optional) Customize the:
   • Columns that appear in the report
   • Printer settings for the report
   • Fonts in the report
   • Footer (Sage 50 Premium Accounting)
8. (Optional) Save the report as a template in My Reports.
9. Click OK to display the report.

Gross Margin Comparative

1. In the Home window, open the Report Centre, select Financials, Income Statement, and then Gross Margin- Comparative. Click Modify this report.
2. (Optional) Select the Template you want to use for the report.
3. Enter Start and Finish dates for the First and Second periods.
4. Select how you want to compare the two periods:
   • Amounts only
   • Amounts and Difference in percentage
   • Amounts and Difference in amounts
5. (Optional) Select Show departments if you have turned on departments. Click Select Departments. (Sage 50 Premium Accounting)
6. (Optional) Select Hide Accounts With Zero Balance to exclude an account with zero balance from appearing in the report.
7. (Optional) Customize the:
   • Columns that appear in the report
   • Printer settings for the report
   • Fonts in the report
   • Footer (Sage 50 Premium Accounting)
8. (Optional) Save the report as a template in My Reports.
9. Click OK to display the report.
