Add, Rename, or Remove an Inventory or Service Item Category

If you are in multi-user mode, change to single-user mode.

Turn on categories for inventory and service items.

1. In the Home window, on the Setup menu, select Settings.
2. Open Inventory & Services, and select Categories.
3. Type a name on a new line in the Category table.
4. (Optional) Click Assign items to add items to this category now.
5. Click OK.

2. Open Inventory & Services, and choose Categories.
3. Clear the name of the category you want remove.
4. Click OK.
