Importing and Exporting Account Budgets
If you want to update several account budgets at one time, you may find it time-consuming to make changes to each account individually. To save time, you can:
- Import an existing budget from an external source, such as your company's head office.
- Export your account budget information to a spreadsheet program to make multiple price changes at one time. You can modify account budgets according to a spreadsheet formula and then easily import the updated information back into Sage 50 Accounting.
Tip: To quickly update only revenue or expense account budgets by a percentage, use Update Budget Amounts on the Maintenance menu in the Home window.
