Export GIFI Codes
To export GIFI codes for electronic T2 returns:
- In the Home window on the File menu, choose Import/Export, and then Electronic Filing, followed by Export GIFI.
- Select the year containing the GIFI codes you want to export. (This step is optional if you have been operating your company for less than one year.)
- Choose where you want to save your file.
- Consult the manual of your tax reporting software for instructions for importing the GIFI codes, or give the file to the accountant preparing your T2 return.
