Set Up a New Default Printer for Customized Reports and Financial Statements

Standard reports and financial statements always print to the default printer. For customized reports and statements, you can choose a default printer that is different from the Windows default, and you can have the report go to that alternate printer every time you print.

  1. From the Select a Report or Form window, double-click the customized report to display it. When the report appears onscreen, select the (Page) Setup button.

    If the report or statement is already displayed onscreen, just select the (Page) Setup button.

  2. When the Page Setup window appears, select the Printer button.
  3. In the second Page Setup window, use the drop-down list to select the alternate printer you want to use.
  4. Select OK to return to the first Page Setup window.

  5. When finished, select OK.

Now, whenever you print this customized report or statement, Sage 50 will use the alternate printer you have chosen.
