Sage 50 Accounting—U.S. Edition (Release 2026.2)

The 2026.2 release of Sage 50 includes the following new features and product improvements:

Get help in seconds—Introducing Sage Assistant, a smart chatbot designed to answer your most common questions and assist you around the clock. Access Sage Assistant any time by going to Help > Chat with Sage Assistant.
Add a layer of protection to your data—You can now choose to encrypt your company data by going to Help > Support Utilities > Encrypt Company Data.
Better understand payroll errors—We've improved our error messaging around missing payroll formulas, providing explicit guidance on how to resolve this issue.

The 2026.1 release of Sage 50 includes the following new features and product improvements:

The 2026.0 release of Sage 50 includes the following new features and product improvements:

Super catchup—If you have a service plan that includes payroll, you can now specify if employees aged 60 to 63 are eligible to make super catchup contributions.
Special fields—If you have a service plan that includes payroll, we've expanded the number of special fields that can be included for allowances and additional withholding.
Expanded banking integration—Sage 50 now supports expanded banking integration, enabling seamless and secure connections to a wide range of financial institutions.
