My Notifications
The My Notifications list allows you to see any notifications that have been sent to you. Notifications are sent based on Notification Rules that have been set up.
The New notifications indicator located near the bottom of the Navigation Bar will let you know if you have new notifications or not. If you have new notifications, the text including the number of new notifications will appear in bold with a blue flag.
If you don't have any new notifications, the text will not be bold, the number of new notifications will be 0, and the flag will be gray instead of blue.
Click on the New notifications indicator near the bottom of the Navigation Bar. Or go to Lists>Workflow Notifications>My Notifications.
Tip: Clicking the transaction listed for a notification will open that transaction.
Notifications are sent based on notification rules. These rules are set up to send notifications to specified users when certain conditions are met regarding changes to tracking statuses and/or assignees on transactions. You have received a notification because a rule was set up to notify you when certain conditions occurred.
- Click the email link on the row of the notification you want to email to someone
- This will open your email application with a new email message shown. This message will be populated with the message text and additional message text from the notification.
- Make any changes or additions to the email message and subject.
- Enter the email address or addresses where you want to send the email.
- Send the email.
- Check the Select checkbox next to any notifications you want to delete.
- Click the Delete selected notifications link.
- Click Yes on the message confirming that you want to delete the selected notifications.
Note: Notifications will automatically be deleted if the associated transaction is deleted.
Tip: Having a large number of notifications can slow down the performance of your Sage 50 application. We recommend you delete notifications when they are old or no longer needed. If you want to keep a record of notifications that you have received, you can send the My Notifications list to Excel, an email address, or a PDF file. To do this, select the Send To button and then choose where you want to send the list.
These notifications will be automatically be deleted .
