Employee Time Report
The Employee Time report lists time tickets recorded by employees based on ticket billing status. This report lets you review work completed by an employee. You can summarize this report: by customer, to see what the employee completed for each customer; by item, to see what the employee completed for each job; by billing status, to compare billable and non-billable time spent (useful at evaluation time); and by job/phase, to evaluate against estimated hours for the job and/or phase.
Also, if you decide to record employee vacation and sick time as hours recorded on time tickets, this report can provide useful totals.
Options
Click the Options button to determine the data criteria for the reports you want to see or print. For this report Sage 50 displays the following filter options:
- Date: You have the choice of All, Range, Today, This Period, and the week, month, period, quarter, and year to date. If you select range, you can enter a beginning and ending date.
- Sort by: You can only sort this report by employee ID.
- Summarized By: You summarize report detail by customer ID, completed for ID (employee or vendor), item ID (activity or charge item), billing status, job or phase, or detailed (not summarize).
- Select a filter: First, select a filter on the left. Then, define the options for that filter on the right. The options differ based on the filter selected. Tell me more about the types of filter options.
