Customize Business Status
This window lets you rearrange the sections that appear in the Sage 50Business Status Center so it looks like you want. You can also choose not to display certain sections. Not showing some of the sections could help to speed up the display of the Business Status Center. The more data there is to display, the longer it takes to load, so if you have, for example, a very large number of customers, not showing the Top Customers section would speed up display.
The Business Status Layout grid shows all the sections and the order in which they're currently arranged. To rearrange any of the sections, do the following:
- Select the appropriate section name in the grid.
- Use the Move Up/Move Down button to change its position.
- When you're satisfied with the layout, click OK.
The image at the bottom of the window shows how the Business Status Center will look following any layout changes you make.
If you want to hide any of the sections in the Business Status Center, uncheck the Show box corresponding to that section. Note that the Top Customers Show box is unchecked by default. This is because showing the Top Customers section can cause Business Status to load more slowly.
However, you can choose to show all sections if you want; check the boxes corresponding to the sections you want to show. You can choose to hide all sections if you do not want to display any information in the Business Status Center.
If you want to change the order of the sections back to the default setting, just click Reset Defaults and then OK to activate the change.
Following is the default order of sections in the Business Status Center:
- Account Balances
- Revenue
- Customers Who Owe Money
- Vendors to Pay
- Aged Receivables
- Aged Payables
- Top Customers
- Find a Report
