Import Statement - Import Summary
This window summarizes the contents of the bank statement you just imported into Account Reconciliation.
Statement Date: This is the Statement Date from the Account Reconciliation screen in Sage 50.
Total Records to be Imported: This indicates the total number of records that will be imported into Sage 50. These records are broken out into
- the number of checks or bank debits that will be imported and the total dollar amount of all such checks/bank debits
- the number of deposits or bank credits that will be imported plus the total dollar amount of all such deposits/ bank credits
Imported Charges: This indicates the total number of service and other bank charges that will be imported plus the total dollar amount of all such charges. The dollar total will appear in the Imported Charges field in the Account Reconciliation window.
Imported Interest: This indicates the total number of interest items that will be imported plus the total dollar amount of all such items. The dollar total will appear in the Imported Interest field in the Account Reconciliation window.
When you are done reviewing this summary, click Finish to import the bank statement into Sage 50. The statement will be added as a series of new bank records in Account Reconciliation, and Sage 50 will try to autoclear these records by matching them to existing Sage 50 transactions.
If you don't want to import the statement into Sage 50, click Cancel. You will return to the Account Reconciliation window.
