You have entered or selected a G/L account ID that has an inactive status.

  • If you want to save using the inactive account, select Yes.
  • If you want to enter or select an alternate account ID, select No. You will return to the original window, on which you can choose an alternate account ID.

If you want to change the status of the Account ID, you must open the account record under Maintain > Chart of Accounts. Then uncheck the Inactive box for that account and click Save. You can do this while the task or record window remains open on your screen, so that you do not lose the information you are currently entering.
