Flexible Spending Accounts

Here you define the standard or default options for the flexible spending plans your company offers.

Types of flexible spending plans: Although you can set up multiple plans, you set up one plan at a time on this window. So click one of the options beside Medical Care, Dependent Care, Health Savings, or Adoption Assistance.

Who contributes money to this plan? Select Employee, Company, or Both.

Company contribution: Enter the standard company contribution for the plan.

Note: If you have not subscribed to a plan that includes payroll, FSA amounts will not be calculated in Sage 50. You can enter your FSA policy here to keep track of it and to see it on reports. Also, any FSA amounts entered for an employee on a paycheck will appear on reports.
