Use Task Manager to Stop the SmartPosting Service

1. Open Windows Task Manager.
   1. Right-click on an empty space on the task bar.
   2. Select Task Manager.

   OR

   3. Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete.
   4. Select Task Manager.
2. Select the Processes tab.
3. Make sure Show processes from users is checked.
4. Select SmartPostingService<Year>.exe in the list.
5. Click End Process.
6. Close the Task Manager window.
