This window appears if the total distributions you made in the Split Transaction window do not match the transaction amount you entered in the Write Checks or Account Register window.

The Unbalanced Split window tells you the amount of the transaction you wrote, the total amount distributed to individual line items, and the difference between those amounts. You have one of two options:

If you want to return to the Split Transaction window and adjust the distribution balance, select the first option button.
If you want to return to the Write Checks or Account Register window and adjust the transaction amount to match the total distribution, select the second option button.

Once you have chosen, click OK. Sage 50 returns you to the appropriate window so you can make the needed adjustment.
