Sync data with Sage Connect

When you sync data with Sage Connect, customer and payment information is uploaded to the Customer Account Portal and payments customers have made in the portal are downloaded to Sage 50.

Note: To record payments downloaded to Sage 50, you must be in single-user mode.

Initial sync

An initial data sync occurs when you first connect to Sage Connect. The data that's initially uploaded to the Customer Account Portal includes:

  • All customer invoice information
  • All open invoices and credit notes
  • Three years of closed invoices and credit notes
  • Three years of PDF attachments for open invoices and credit notes

Automatic sync

After the initial sync is complete, an automatic sync occurs:

  • Every 10 minutes
  • Every time you open the company file

Manual sync

You can manually sync with Sage Connect at any time by going to File > Sage Connect > Sync now....
