Review transactions in AI Document Capture

To review transactions before posting them in AI Document Capture, follow these steps:

Open AI Document Capture

Open AI Document Capture in one of three ways:

  • In the Home window, click Apps & Services on the navigation page. On the AI Document Capture tile, click Manage service > Open.
  • Go to File > AI Document Capture > Open AI Document Capture.
  • In the Home window, click Vendors & Purchases on the navigation pane. Click the AI Document Capture icon.

The AI Document Capture window appears, displaying files that have already been uploaded.

Review transactions

You may want to (or need to) review a transaction before posting it. In this case, complete these steps:

  1. Identify the transaction you want to review.
    • If a transaction has a Review needed status, you must review it before you can post it in Sage 50.
    • If a transaction has a Ready to post status, you can review the transaction if you want to, but it's not required.
  2. In the Actions column, click Review to open the transaction in the purchase journal. If the transaction has a status of Review needed, a message will appear detailing the errors that need to be corrected before it can be posted.
  3. In the purchase journal, review the transaction and edit the information as needed.

  4. Close the window or click Post to post the transaction.
