Revenue Account Classes
The revenues account group refers to money earned by the company.
Each account
group in Sage 50 Accounting can be further divided into account classes.
Account Class | Description |
---|---|
Revenue | A generic revenue account that covers all revenues. |
Operating Revenue | Revenue earned as part of the company's regular business. |
Non-Operating Revenue | Revenue earned outside of the regular operation of a business. |
Farming Revenue | Revenue earned as a part of farming. |
Other Revenue | Any revenue that does not fit into any of the above categories. |
Gain | Amounts gained from the sale of a fixed asset that results in a profit, such as the sale of a building. |
Extraordinary Gain | Amounts gained from activities over which the business has no control. |
