Message Centre
The Message Centre displays any communications that you have received from Sage. You can control which messages you or a user receive through the Messaging Security Rights.
Messages appear in the Message Centre in a table format. Message details such as subject, message type, read status, and so forth are displayed. You can sort the columns by clicking in the column header.
Note: The type of messages that you or a user receive depends on the defined Messaging Security Rights. To view messages, you must have an Internet connection.

- In the Home window, open the Maintenance menu, and select Message Centre.
- Click the Message Centre icon at the bottom right of the Sage 50 Accounting window on the status bar.
- If you have received a message or more than one message, a single pop-up appears in the middle of the Sage 50 Accounting window. Click either X new messages received or Click here to review your messages to open the Message Centre.
To open a message
Click the message link in the Subject line and the message appears in the default browser.
Note: If one message pop-up appears and you click it, the message appears in the default browser; however, if you have received more than one message, a single pop-up appears in the middle of the Sage 50 Accounting window. Click either X new messages received or Click here to review your messages to open the Message Centre. You can then choose which message you wish to open.
To delete a message
Select the message and click Discard.
Note: You can also use one of the Select menu options to quickly delete more than one message. Open the Select menu and choose All, All Read, or All Unread and then press Discard. Click the Clear All button to deselect all of the message check boxes.
