Close a Bank Account
To close a bank account in Sage 50 Accounting:
- Close your account at the bank.
- Ensure this isn't a linked account. If it is, change the linked account.
- Perform one last account reconciliation to ensure that there are no outstanding transactions or money owed to you by the bank.
- Delete the account from the Chart of Accounts.
