Add an inventory or service item to an existing category

If you are in multi-user mode, switch to single-user mode.

To turn on or off categories for inventory and service items:

  1. In the Home window, on the Setup menu, choose Settings.
  2. Open Inventory & Services, and choose Categories.
  3. Select the check box for My company uses Categories for inventory and service items.
  4. Click OK.
