Shortcut Menus

Shortcut menus are the menus that open when you right-click task icons or List pane items on the Home window. When you are learning to use Sage 50 Accounting, these menus let you quickly explore the options available for a selected icon or item. Once you are familiar with Sage 50 Accounting, however, shortcut menus help you work more efficiently by providing quick access to familiar tasks.

Shortcut Menus for Icons

Most, but not all, icons in the Home window have a shortcut menu. The drop-down arrow beside an icon name indicates the icon has a shortcut menu. There are two ways to open a shortcut menu for an icon: right-click the icon or click the icon name. Both actions will open the same menu.

Shortcut Menus in List Pane

The List pane in the Home window displays the records associated with the module that is open. Right-clicking a record in the List pane opens a shortcut menu that applies only to the selected record.
