  • Register your Sage 50 Accounting program.
  • Subscribe to a service plan that includes payroll or buy Sage 50 Quantum Accounting.
  • Get a Payroll ID

To use your payroll ID to unlock automatic payroll calculations and payroll features:

  1. In the Home window on the Help menu, choose Unlock Payroll.
  2. Click Enter Payroll ID.
  3. Fill in the following boxes:
    • Account ID. This is your ten-digit account identification number. You can find this number in the registration confirmation email. Do not include any spaces or dashes.
    • Payroll ID. This identification number does not use the letters I and O.
  4. Click OK.
