Turn On or Off the Number Sequence Checker for a Form

Suppress messages in multi-user mode when form number changes (Sage 50 Quantum Accounting)

Turning this feature on produces a prompt when you process a transaction with a number that is out of sequence for that form. You cannot correct the transaction number, but you can tell Sage 50 Accounting if you want the next form number to follow the number just entered or not.

Note: This option cannot be turned off when Fast Posting is in use. (Sage 50 Quantum Accounting)

Switch to single-user mode (Sage 50 Premium Accounting)

To set up checking the number sequence of a form:

  1. In the Home window on the Setup menu, choose Settings.
  2. On the left side of the window, click Company and then Forms.
  3. In each form that you want to check the number sequence, select the box in the Verify Number Sequence column.
  4. Click OK.
