Add or Modify Item Information for Exporting or Importing Transactions
There are two ways to prepare items for import and export with vendors and customers:

- Open the customer or vendor record.
- Open the Import/Export tab.
- Select This customer/vendor uses my item number on orders/invoices or quotes.
- Click Save and Close.

- Open the customer or vendor record.
- Open the Import/Export tab.
- On a blank line in the Vendor's or Customer's Item Number column, type the item number your customer or vendor uses.
- In the My Item Number column, type the item number you use in your records.
- Click Save and Close.

- Open the vendor or customer record.
- Select the Import/Export tab.
- On a blank line in the Vendor's or Customer's Item Number column, type the item number your vendor or customer uses.
- In the My Account column, select the account you want to use for the purchase (vendors) or sale (customers) of the item.
- Click Save and Close.
