Record Windows

Any window in which you create or edit a record, such as an account, employee, customer, inventory or service item, a project, or vendor.

You can open a record from an icon window or, if you have turned off icon windows for the module, select a module in the Home window and open the corresponding record icon.

You can look up an individual record by clicking Ctrl+F or, on the Edit menu, choose Search.

In accounting terms, record windows are called ledgers.
