Modify a Tax Report

You must have access rights to Reports for Transactions in the Accounts & General Ledger security option

1. In the Home window, open the Report Centre. Select Tax and then Tax Summary. Click Modify this report.
2. (Optional) Select the Template you want to use for the report.
3. Select the Range date or enter Start and Finish dates to define the reporting period.
4. Select the taxes you want to include in the report. Click Select All to report on all the taxes.
5. Select the details to report. For example, you may want to include the taxes charged on sales, but not taxes paid on purchases.
6. (Optional) Select the tax status to report. You can select either Taxable, Non-Taxable, and Exempt.
7. (Optional) In the Show on reports section, check Taxes broken down by tax code to show the amounts associated with each tax code.
8. (Optional) Customize the:
   • Columns that appear in the report
   • How your report is sorted
   • Results using filters
   • Printer settings for the report
   • Fonts in the report
9. (Optional) Save the report as a template in My Reports.
10. Click OK to display the report.
