Make sure the account used for the transaction is set up for project allocation. In the Account record, on the Account tab, select Allow Project Allocations.

Note: This option converts the specified amount or hours into a percentage before allocating each paycheque in the payroll run.
Note: Click the pushpin next to the Project List menu to use the selected project in multiple transactions.
Note: If each line item is allocated to a different project, By Line is indicated in the Project List menu. If you allocate a line item to a project and then select a project from the Project List menu, the line item allocation is removed.
Note: You can only select an allocation option if its column has been filled on the time slip.
