Import Records from Quicken
To import Quicken
addresses into Sage 50 Accounting:
- Open Sage 50 Accounting.
In the Home window, on the File menu, choose Import/Export,
and then Import Records.
- When the Import
Records Wizard starts, select Quicken.
- (Optional) To back
up your data, click Back Up and select the
backup options
- Complete the remaining
steps in the Import Records Wizard and click Finish.
- Review
the records you have imported.
To import Quicken accounts into Sage 50 Accounting:
Note: Accounts can be imported only when you are creating a new company.
- In the Home window,
from the File menu, select New Company.
- In the List of
Accounts step, select Have Sage 50 Accounting create
a list of accounts from an export file.
- In the next window,
select Quicken and click Next.
- Enter the name
of the Quicken account files you want to import. You can also import Quicken
files with vendor, customer, and employee records at this time.
- Complete the remaining
steps in the New Company Setup Wizard and click Finish.
- Review
the records you have imported.
